It is thirty years since the political events in Cyprus of 74 but for two London kebab shop owners, the war has only just begun. But this time its a price war. Forbidden romance adds fuel to the fire, and it is only when one man's life is in danger that the two men realise their fighting is futile.
Vicki Psarias is a British / Greek Cypriot writer and director and RIFTS is her debut film. Vicki hopes she has made a universally poignant film that encourages peace and resolution for conflicting communities around the world. She is currently writing a screenplay based on RIFTS.
